26th August 2009 Windsurfing: Hove Wind Direction: WSW Wind Stength: F4-5 Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sun and rain Max Speed: Distance Covered: Great 2 hour sesh down at West Hove. Sunny, but not too many of the nudists around, so got the number one parking spot. Rigged 5m on 70 ltr wave board. Bit optimistic, planing with pumps, but changed board after one run out!! 100 ltr freestyle was much more fun basically just blatting, hopping, tacking, gybing etc. Changed up to a 5.9m after a rain squall came through and that was just peachy and very throwabout. It was the kind of session when you wish you could do freestyle. |
